Haruko is German singer/songwriter Susanne Stanglow. With ten simple yet gorgeous tracks she created one of the finest folk albums of 2009. I would compare her to the likes of Lotte Kestern, Alela Diane and Sharon Van Etten. This is a fantastic little album and has secured a spot as one of my favourites so far this year.
