Danny Norbury is a cellist that creates his music using the instruments he has at home. This may seem like an uninteresting fact until you listen to the scope of this record. It is massive, expansive, elegant and sometimes astonishing. Balancing between the cello and piano he creates a stunning record that rivals the likes of Max Richter, Peter Broderick, Sylvain Chauveau, Rachel's and Hauschka. When he isn't working on a release he is collaborating with the likes of Library Tapes, The Boats and Rafael Anton Irisarri. This album will gut you and at the same time make you feel unassailable.
